Eager to integrate technology into its business model, and thus to spark its evolution, Angelcare is seeking to develop a mobile application to incorporate into its AC1200 monitor, its new line of baby monitors.

A mobile application connected to a video monitor, movements and sounds including multiple functions is developed. Integrated into the monitor, it is accessible via a mobile telephone or tablet, and available for iOS and Android – an innovative and unique solution.

Result

Thanks to this application, parents can now monitor their children no matter where they are. Access to the monitor’s camera is available via the internet, or even in offline mode via up to four devices simultaneously. Parents can also invite friends or family members to access the camera from their own phones, and manage these authorizations from their account.

To achieve quality video in both daytime and nighttime lighting, a pilot light and a night vision mode were added. An adapted and universal interface opens doors to a vast market for Angelcare, and this use of technology, a first for the business, supports the evolution of their business model.
